Supportive Services/Information and Referral (SSIR)
Referrals are often made to our agency which do not involve child abuse or neglect but do involve a situation in which families would appropriately benefit from intervention and assistance. In an effort to address such situations and lend support to children and families, we have added a category of service, "Supportive Services/Information and Referral". Such services are voluntary and may include telephone contacts, information letters, educational packets, and referrals to community services or other CCDJFS services.
For more information about our SSIR Program, please call (330) 424-7781, ext. 3144.
