For the Continued well being of our staff, and the Clients we serve, we ask that any person(s) experiencing flu like symptoms of the seasonal or H1N1 flu virus please consider rescheduling your face to face appointment to assist in limiting exposure and the spread of the flu virus.

Beginning July 1, 2009, Columbiana County DJFS will be using a new system called "case banking" for Food Assistance and Medicaid cases. Customers will not have a designated caseworker to handle their case. All cases within a particular unit will be handled by a "bank" of caseworkers within that unit. Notices will be mailed to customers to let them know the name of the "bank" where their case will be located.  If customers have changes to report they are to contact the phone worker within the appropriate bank. Below is a list of the three banks and phone workers and phone extensions for each of those workers. We believe this change will allow us to better manage our customer volume while still providing efficient service delivery.
