Benefits Offered to CCDJFS Employees
Employees at CCDJFS are offered a choice from three different health care plan options. These options are, Base Plan, Buy Up Plan and HSA Plan and are administered through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Access Plan. Employees are responsible to pay a % of the premium cost based on their choice of coverage and the current rate as negotiated by collective bargaining and or the agreement between non-bargaining staff and the Board of County Commissioners. The plan offers single coverage, employee with one dependent coverage, employee and multiple dependent coverage and family coverage.
Employees at CCDJFS are eligible for various accrued and personal leave benefits. Sick leave is available as it is earned at a biweekly rate determined by the collective bargaining agreement or the agreement between non-bargaining staff and the Board of County Commissioners. Vacation Leave is earned and available at the one year anniversary and beyond for employees. Personal leave is gained each January in an amount determined by the collective bargaining agreement or the agreement between non-bargaining staff and the Board of County Commissioners.
The normal hours of operation for CCDJFS are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
